A trip down this road at the end of 2020 demanded some attention in oil on a canvas sheet …

A typical summer day in December with its blue skies and clouds promising rain that would not come this time around. The Northern Cape was bone dry and one could only hope for the sight of a half filled dam … I painted this as I would like to see it – with a little dam filled with enough for this farmer’s needs …
